When we are right in the middle of the digital transformation and Industry 4.0 revolution, it is time to fully review the working patterns, the nature of the workforce and the concepts of employment.

What does it mean to create a workforce that is developing, keeping up with the era and innovating in this new era?

Future of Work Summit, asking you to leave the balloon that appears safe, brings together the best mentors, futurists and speakers from Turkey and the world with an attentive curation as to provide that you leave it with actions by explaining what you have to do today.
In the Future of Work Summit, We saw the issues such as automation, new labor, new competencies, agile teams, meaning-focused organization and new leaders, HR analytics, designing future workspaces with a new point of view.
We talked together about the philosophy and work of the digital world. Im really happy that I took part in the Future of Work movement.

“Why Do We Need Artificial Intelligence?”

We discussed the questions in our mind and shared our knowledge. Before we find the real answers to our questions at the Future of Work Summit, let’s look at what Hackquarters team thinks about Artificial Intelligence.

Melis: We are involved in Artificial Intelligence in every field of life.The risks associated with Artificial Intelligence use are important.The most serious risk is that millions of people are likely to be unemployed.But there are other concerns.

Is it possible for companies and even states that have mastered the use of Artificial Intelligence to create gaps between societies, cause serious inequalities, and even Artificial Intelligence can become a dominant power to the world one day?

Moreover, does Artificial Intelligence reach a level that will destroy humanity by becoming smarter than human? Is there any reason to do this?And why are we still using Artificial Intelligence when there is such a possibility?

Why do we need Artificial Intelligence?

Okan:First of all, it is obvious that Artificial Intelligence will cause difficulties in the future, especially in blue-collar employment.

Beyza:In which sectors do you think Artificial Intelligence will be most effective?

Okan:It is inevitable to increase the robotic workforce by using Artificial Intelligence in order to minimize this risk in long-term business areas

Saliha:Mining Industry

Okan:According to a survey, 47% of jobs will disappear in the next 25 Years

Melis:But perhaps new areas will emerge and unemployment may not be a problem

Okan:I think the most important point that separates us from robots is our “Emotional Intelligence”.

Melis:I don’t think that something will try to rule the world just because it’s smart.

For example, there are many intelligent people who are not trying to take over the world.

Everything that is intelligent cannot be human.

It’s like thinking that any fast animal will turn into a cheetah.

Berke:Our emotional point is true, but In Artificial Intelligence algorithms,for example,if you give them a batch of data, they can learn from that data. The same system can examine people with emotional behaviors and behave very close to this behavior.

Emre:I read an article about 60% of the professions in the world are still waiting to appear, 45 years ago there was no computer engineer, no software engineer…

People can learn, but the robot will not be able to fully and accurately divide information on the Internet.Here come the logical emotions of the circuit.

In my opinion, people will always be one step ahead.

Melis:Could we hack the Artifical Intelligence?Think it wouldn’t be hackable.

Wouldn’t it be hard to get hold of him when he gets to us without hackability?

Berke:I’ve heard of a tactic being developed in autonomous vehicles for hacking: For example, you bought a Mercedes Benz autonomous vehicle, your vehicle will not be connected to the internet at all times while driving. It will only connect when needed.

Bilge:Do you think governments should control or regulate Artificial Intelligence to prevent artificial intelligence from being dangerous?

Dilara:The European Union recently published an ethical guide to Artificial Intelligence

Melis:I think artificial intelligence should not have emotions because the total absence of emotions makes the robots think logically and make the right decisions.Emotions can blur judgment and affect human productivity.
