Microsoft working on a AI-powered feature to provide intelligent suggestions in Word

Microsoft announced a new AI-powered editor feature for its Word and it going to be compete with services like Grammarly when it arrives

It will be able to suggest grammar changes, and it enable users to improve clarity and concision, i n their contents and it also explain acronyms, and even estimate reading time.

This AI feature comes into frame from the right edge of the screen. It uses the machine learning technique to suggest a rewrite for a tricky phrase.

Microsoft, this feature is still in under development process. It will be expected to be launch in June and it is expected to arrive for all users.


It catch basic grammar errors, recommend rewriting of phrases to make it more concise, inclusive, and clear.

It will only provide intelligent suggestions.

It additionally be able to estimate reading time of the document, highlight key points from a large document, and even explain acronyms in the text. This helps the user to read through a important content apart from reading the long document.

It also introduced Inline task in Word that allow users to @mention someone in a document. This will help users to assign colleague a task, asking a question, or prompt a quick review without ever leaving the document.


After this AI powered Editor feature arrives it will be a big support for content writers, and also for the companies and employees in drafting out their documents.
